Progress from the very first game in the Kingdom Hearts series right through the entire franchise and experience cutscenes from the particular game in the series that you are playing the song from. As well as classic Kingdom Hearts songs there are some great Disney originals thrown in as well who can forget A Whole New World from Aladdin or the classic Circle of Life from the Lion King, or my personal favorite Beauty and the Beast. If you were one of the many that have over the years enjoyed playing all the games in the Kingdom Hearts series then you are going to enjoy Melody of Memory, the more time you spend learning to master the game's systems the better the game gets. With over 140 songs to enjoy and 20 characters to experience and upgrade, fans of the genre will be kept busy for quite some time. At the heart of the game are the original Kingdom Hearts tunes, with music that has been part of the franchise for nearly two generations, such iconic tunes like Simple and clean, Sanctuary, and Face my Fears are joined by new versions of classic tracks like the wonderful new jazzy version of Dearly Beloved, all of which are accompanied by cutscenes. Indies Zero has added a little more difficulty by giving you additional challenges to progress from each level so that when you complete a song there are 3 more extra objectives that you will be rewarded with a star for each one that you manage to accomplish, by continually gaining stars you will be able to open gates that block your way at first, thus allowing you to advance, not only that but as you obtain high scores and fulfill the added targets the drop rate for items and collectibles increase so when you get all 3 stars on a certain song you might receive a potion or music sheet. With Over 140 Songs to Enjoy and 20 Characters to Experience But as there are times when you will face multiple enemies you will need to learn to press a combination of two or three buttons and as you do this you will have to jump to avoid incoming attacks (O), jump to take out airborne attackers (O+X, L1 or R1), you can even jump and fly to collect stringed music notes (O and keep it depressed), and lastly use your magic on your aggressors by tapping triangle just at the right moment which can be testing to learn. By using L1, R1, or X you can hit a solo enemy. The main premise of Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is a combat rhythm game, with the objective being to strike all attackers and things in your way with brutal blows and a variety of skills, commencing with Goofy, Donald, and Sora but as you go further into the game you can unlock other classic trios from all the games in the franchise, each character has the same gameplay if you do not land your blow they will cause you damage from their attacks and this will also reset your combo count.
